Dive In Workshop With Museums University of St Andrews
I designed and delivered a workshop in collaboration with Museums of University of St Andrews for their upcoming exhibition Dive In! The exhibition is a call to action to protect our ocean. It goes beyond simply communicating the challenges that climate change and human activity pose to our ocean, instead connecting the solutions to actions that can be taken in day-to-day life, encouraging audiences to take individual action and promote positive behaviour change amongst their social networks, peers and communities. I delivered my workshop around the topic of ocean acidification and natural dyeing. I used modifying pH baths with the attendees to change the pH and colour of naturally dyed fabric. We then made a composition, pictured below for each attendee to keep afterwards.
