BA Graduate Collection: Nature Reclaiming Spaces
My BA graduate collection showcasing the unparalleled force of mother nature, fusing together contemporary & traditional embroidery processes. I completed this collection at home, with no access to University facilities during the first Covid 19 lockdown in 2020. The project is a fusion of super fast and super slow design processes. I explored how I could pull the best of traditional heritage techniques and modern machine processes to get the best out of both. I used deadstock fabric, beads and organic materials where possible.
